Thanks for the feedback. This came from my heart. Kelsey is loving preschool so far, and every morning she says goodbye with ever more confidence, with this sense of adventure in her demeanor. I love it. And I miss her. Not prozac-level missing her, mind you. Very OK. Very productive and healthy.

Yes, she was hugging everyone within minutes. She is now on a soccer team, and she mostly just runs around after all the other kids, hugging on whoever will let her, gleefully skipping in the direction of the ball like a flocking smiling hugging thing. Can you picture it? :)

I'm so proud of YOU, Terry. You seem to have held up very well on such an important day. I wasn't worried about Kelsey at all. Come on, the kid who gives hugs and kisses to people as she leaves McDonald's? Okay, slight exaggeration, but you catch my drift. She LOVES people and is so ready for this next phase of her life. I can't wait to hear what she says when she comes home!

Thanks so much for sharing this very important milestone. I had tears in my eyes, too, reading about the moment when she burst out with her bravery and tossed her puppies to you.
