Slice of life

DSC_0007

The five year old woke up and immediately started categorizing Polly Pocket items so that her “shop” in PollyPocketville, set up on the floor in the living room, could open on time for its customers, who, I’m told, are looking for interesting outfits and accessories.

She has piles for pants, shirts, dresses, hats, bags, pets, and shoes. And one for spare body parts like a lower leg, or a scalp (yes, it’s a plastic wig, but it’s more fun to call it a scalp!). There are sleds, but those are actually wheelchairs, for those customers who have lost a limb. I think these are her favorite dolls to play with.

She is so very happy today, running the shop at PollyPocketville. I think I’ll join her!
